LEMON BARS (SAVOR THE LEMON TANGY FLAVOR)



CRUST<>1 CUP ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR<>1/3 CUP BUTTER or margarine SOFTENED<>1/4 CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR<> TOPPING<><>1 CUP SUGAR<>2 EGGS<> 2 TABLESPOON all-purpose FLOUR<>2 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE<>1/2 TEASPOON LEMON EXTRACT<>1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER<>1/4 TEASPOON SALT<>CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR<>COMBINE CRUST INGREDIENTS AND PAT INTO an (8in. SQUARE BAKING PAN) THEN BAKE at 375degreesF --for 15 MINUTES<>MEANWHILE , MAKE TOPPING COMBINE SUGAR, EGGS, FLOUR, LEMONJUICE, EXTRACT, BAKING POWDER and SALT in a MIXING BOWL.<><>MIX UNTIL FROTHY, POUR OVER CRUST.<>(BAKE at 375 degreesF for 18-22 MINUTES or until LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN.<>COOL,and DUST WITH CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR><><>YIELD 9 SERVINGS!!  TANGY, (LEMON SWEETNESS,)!!! soooOH SWEET!!!
