SNICKERDOODLES (COOKIES)



1 CUP SOFT SHORTENING<>2 EGGS<>1 1/2 CUP SUGAR<>1 t. SALT<>1 t. CREAM of TARTAR<>2 -3/4 CUP FLOUR<>1 t. BAKING SODA<><>THOROUGHLY MIX TOGETHER SHORTENING, SUGAR and EGGS.<>ADD DRY INGREDIENTS SIFTED TOGETHER, <>CHILL OVER- NIGHT<>ROLL DOUGH in a mixture of 2 T. SUGAR and 2 t. CINNAMON.<>PLACE about 2 inch. APART on UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.<>BAKE until LIGHTLY BROWNED but still soft><>ABOUT 8-10 MINUTES at 400degreesF.<>  (SNICKERDOODLES  fun COOKIES!!!!!!!
