THE BEST COOKIES for HOLIDAYS ( WHISKEY BALLS)



1 pkg. VANILLA WAFERS (CRUSHED 2 1/2 CUPS)<>1 CUP CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR<>3 tbsp. COCOA<>1 small pkg. (ALMONDS or PECANS, chopped fine)<>3 tbsp. (LIGHT CORN SYRUP)<>then add (2/3 CUP WHISKEY or BRANDY unflavored)<><>MIX ALL (DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER)<><>ADD (CORN SYRUP and WHISKEY),<>(SHAPE into BALLS and ROLL in CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR)<>(LET SET 24 hours, PUT IN LARGE BRANDY GLASS, put saran wrap on top, (THIS WILL keep WHISKEY BALLS MOIST and YUMMMY!! if necessary , reshape and roll in confectioner's SUGAR again!!! ****(THIS IS A CROWD PLEASER!!!!)
