CRANBERRY RELISH
1 qt. CRANBERRIES<>2 CUPS SUGAR<>1 WHOLE ORANGE<>GRIND 4 CAPS CRANBERRIES<>REMOVE THE SEEDS, THEN GRIND ONE WHOLE ORANGE.<>STIR THE CRANBERRIES INTO THE ORANGE AND ADD 2 CUPS OF SUGAR.<>PUT in COVERED JAR and REFRIGERATE for TWO (2) DAYS.<>IT is now READY to be used with MEAT or FOWL. or on FRESHLY BAKED BREAD<>THIS LITTLE RED BERRY WAS CALLED (CRANEBERRY) BY EARLY SETTLER BECAUSE THEY GREW WILD IN SWAMPS INHABITED BY THE BLEW HERON.(THE VARIATIONS in color are because of differents varieties rather then degrees of RIPENESS.<>
