MAYONNAISE CHOCOLATE CAKE (old RECIPE)




1 CUP SUGAR<>2 CUPS FLOUR<>1 TBSP. COCOA<>2 TSP. SODA<> 1/2 TSP. SALT<>1 CUP WARM WATER<>1 CUP MAYONNAISE<>1 TSP. VANILLA<> (SIFT then MEASURE FLOUR) now (SIFT again with REMAINING DRY INGREDIENTS)<>ADD WATER, MAYONNAISE and VANILLA<>NOW (BEAT 2 minutes at medium speed, or until WELL MIXED)<>(BAKE in a greased LOAF PAN or 9x9x2 inch pan for (40 to 50 MINUTES) OVEN TEMP(350 degreesF)  THIS CAKE will be a MOIST TREAT!!!!  ADVENTURE in FOOD!!!!
