PUMPKIN CHIFFON PIE (GENUINE VERMONT PUMPKIN)
1 1/2 CUPS STRAINED PUMPKIN<>1/2 CUP MOLASSES<>1/4 CUP SUGAR<>1 TEASPOON CINNAMON<>1/2 TEASPOON GINGER<>1 1/3 CUPS or 1 CAN EVAPORATED MILK<>2 EGGS<>1 TABLESPOON GELATINE<>1/4 CUP WATER<><>USE BAKED PIE SHELL<>SOAK GELATINE IN COLD WATER.<>BEAT ( EGG YOLKS) add PUMPKIN ,MILK, MOLASSES, SUGAR ,CINNAMON,and GINGER<>(COOK until THICKENED in DOUBLE BOILER)<>COOL<>When cool add GELATINE and CHILL<>WHEN THICK (BEAT until LIGHT then FOLD in beaten WHITES and PILE ON BAKED PIE SHELL!!!!! YUMMY!!!
