CHEERS TO CIDER (The Sweet, delicate flavor of pressed APPLES inspires these FALL cocktails all delicious to the core.)




MULLED  CIDER****no FALL party would be complete without warm SPICY CIDER, laced with MAPLE SYRUP.<><>COMBINE 3 cups fresh APPLE CIDER,<>2 CUPS DRY RED WINE,<>!?@ CUP PURE MAPLE SYRUP<>1 TEASPOON WHOLE BLACK PEPPERCORNS<<>1 ORANGE or 2 TANGERINES (SLICED) and 1 MEDIUM APPLE or 4lady apples (sliced) 1/4 inch thick) in a medium pot. GENTLY SIMMER OVER MEDIUM-LOW heat 10 minutes.(SERVE WARM IN MUGS) MAKES 6<><><>APPLE CIDER< CRANBERRY &  GINGER PUNCH<><>MUDDLE 1/3 cup fresh cranberries with 2 tablespoons SUGAR in a pitcher.<>ADD 1 1/2 cups fresh apple cider, 2/3 cup chilled GINGER BEER<>2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 3 1/2 ounces GIN IF DESIRED. DIVE AMONG 4 GLASSES, SERVE OVER ICE CHILLED (SPRIG OF MINT)   CHEERS TO  CIDER****DELICIOUS!!!!!
