AUNT JULIA'S (APPLE FRITTERS)





2 t. BAKING POWDER<>2 CUPS FLOUR<>PINCH of SALT<>2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR<>1, EGG BEATEN<>1 CUP MILK<>(TART APPLES PARED and SLICED, 4-5 APPLES) <>SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER<>ADD GRADUALLY (MILK and WELL BEATEN EGG)<>PARE and CUT APPLES in THIN SLICES or DICED)<>STIR or DIP APPLES IN BATTER for complete COATING<><>(DROP by SPOONFULS INTO DEEP FAT)<>FRY until BROWN in DEEP FAT at 370degrees for 3 minutes<>(SERVE with HOT MAPLE SYRUP or JELLY)  sooOH, DELICIOUS!!!!!!!
