OLE TIME (STEAMED SUET PUDDING)




GRIND 1 CUP SUET<> 1 CUP DRY BREAD CRUMBS or DRY POUND CAKE<> 1 CUP RAISINS.<>MIX WELL.<>ADD 1 EGG BEATEN and 1 CUP MILK.<>ADD sifted together (1 CUP FLOUR, and 1 CUP SUGAR, and TEASPOON SALT and 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA and 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON.<>(LAST ADD 1 CUP CANDIED FRUIT, raisins, nuts and citrons, GROUND or CHOPPED)<>STEAM 2 HOURS.<>(SERVE with HARD SAUCE or WHIPPED CREAM)  this ole RECIPE has been known to VERMONT women from "away back" and has been handed down from MOTHER to DAUGHTER!!!!!
