TIME SPENT TOGETHER!!

THE THREE COUSINS ONLY A FEW YEARS APART TRY TO MAKE TIME TO SPEND TOGETHER<IT"s HARD, EACH ONE LIVES IN A DIFFERENT AREA AND THEY HAVE THEIR OWN GROWN FAMILY> WHEN THEY DO GET TOGETHER THEY TRY TO CATCH UP ON GOSSIP< FUNNY STORIES AND TALES OF LONG AGO< THEY ARE VERY CLOSE THAT WAY< AND THEY LOVE THE MOUNTAINS AND THE MEADOW< BEAVER POND AND THE MEMORY OF THE OLD FOLKS BURNS BRIGHT WITHIN EACH ONE< THEY LIKE BEAN HOLE SUPPERS< AND PICNICS AND FAMILY GATHERINGS AND ONE ALWAYS HAS A REUNION AT HER HOME AND EVERYONE BRINGS A DISH< I HAVE YET TO GO< I ALWAYS HAVE OTHER CRAZY COMMITMENTS< THIS YEAR IF GODS' WILLING I'D LIKE TO ATTEND>BUT I THOUGHT I'D BRING FRESH <> <> HOME MADE CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES<> IT MAKES ABOUT 20,   TAKE 16 oz MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS<>2tsb. shortening <>1 lb. FRESH STRAWBERRIES WITH LEAVES<>** INSERT TOOTHPICKS INTO TOPS OF STRAWBERRIES.<>IN DOUBLEBOILER< MELT CHOCOLATE AND SHORTENING< STIRRING OCCASIONALLY UNTIL SMOOTH> HOLDING STRAWBERRIES BY TOOTHPICKS< DIP EACH ONE IN CHOCOLATE MIXTURE<> TURN STRAWBERRIES UPSIDE DOWN AND INSERT TOOTHPICK INTO STYROFOAM AND LET CHOCOLATE COOL.<>!!!
