ANISE COOKIES
1/3 CUP ANISE SEEDS<>3 2/3 CUPS SIFTED ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR<>1/8 TEASPOON BAKING SODA<>1 CUP SOFT BUTTER or MARGARINE<>1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR<>1 CUP LIGHT BROWN SUGAR, PACKED<>1 EGG, UNBEATEN<>3 TABLESPOON LIGHT MOLASSES<>1/3 CUP UNDILUTED EVAPORATED MILK<>WITH SHARP KNIFE, CHOP ANISE SEEDS VERY FINE.<>SIFT FLOUR WITH BAKING SODA<>CREAM BUTTER until light and FLUFFY.<>GRADUALLY ADDING SUGARS<>STIR IN (EGG, MOLASSES, MILK, CHOPPED ANISE SEEDS, BEAT WELL.)<>BLEND in FLOUR MIXTURE.<>REFRIGERATE, COVERED 1 HOUR.<>THEN (SHAPE into rolls 1 1/4in DIAMETER.<>REFRIGERATE @ least 12 HOURS.<>SLICE DOUG 1/8in to 1/4in THICK.<>ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS (BAKE 9 to 11 min or until DONE) SET OVEN 375degreesF.!!!! THESE COOKIES ARE (DELICIOUS)!!!
