INGREDIENTS<><>4 CUPS (STRAWBERRY RHUBARB, sliced)<><>1/1/4 CUP SUGAR<><><><><><>1 TABLESPOON quick COOKING TAPIOCA<><>1 CUP CRUSHED PINEAPPLE<><><>COMBINE<>RHUBARB,--SUGAR--and TAPIOCA,---LET STAND WHILE PIE CRUST IS BEING MADE......2 1/2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR<>1 teaspoon SALT<>3/4 CUP SHORTENING<>5 TABLESPOON COLD WATER,(ABOUT) MAKES 1 (2 CRUST 9in.PIE) ---YOU CAN ALSO USE THE EASY WAY AND (BUY boxed PIE CRUST for DOUBLE CRUST PIE) SIMPLE WAY!! IF YOU MAKE YOUR OWN CRUST MIX INGREDIENTS TOGETHER (ROLL DOUGH LINE a 9 in PIE PLATE with BOTTOM CRUST (FILL PIE SHELL WITH RHUBARB,pats of BUTTER, (SPRINKLE WITH PINEAPPLE, ADJUST TOP CRUST and SEAL EDGES OF PIE.
