PORK CHOPS IN (ORANGE JUICE)

TENDER<>1/4 CUP FLOUR<.1 teaspoon SALT<><>6 PORK CHOPS(LOIN or SHOULDER) THEN ADD 1 teaspoon SALAD OIL or shortening<><.1/2 CUP ORANGE JUICE<>1 teaspoon GRATED or SLIVERED ORANGE RIND<>1 teaspoon BROWN SUGAR--1 teaspoon WHITE SUGAR<>THEN ADD 1 teaspoon FLOUR and 1/2 CUP ORANGE JUICE><><>MIX FLOUR and SALT TOGETHER.<>COAT CHOPS in this MIXTURE and BROWN in  HOT SALAD OIL or SHORTENING in a HEAVY SKILLET . POUR off all FAT.<> THEN ADD ORANGE JUICE to CHOPS and COOK SLOWLY> COVERED, for 45 minutes or UNTIL TENDER.<><>REMOVE CHOPS FROM pan and keep HOT in OVEN.<><>MIX the ORANGE RIND, SUGAR, FLOUR, and ORANGE JUICE together until SMOOTH.<>STIR INTO SKILLET in which CHOPS were COOKED. COOK constantly, until SAUCE is THICK.<>POUR OVER CHOPS.<>SERVES 6<> (SUCCULENT)!!
