ULTIMATE STRAWBERRY PIE




CRUST, You can make your own or use PILLSBURY FROZEN PIE CRUST.<.FILLING FOR STRAWBERRY PIE<>2 PACKAGES (one 8 ounces, one 3 ounces) CREAM CHEESE, softened<>4 TABLESPOONS SUGAR<>1 1/2 QUART FRESH PICKED WHOLE STRAWBERRIES, divided<>2 SQUARES (1 OUNCE EACH) SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE, MELTED<>1 TABLESPOON FINELY CHOPPED (PISTACHIOS, PECANS or WALNUTS><>PUT CRUST IN BOTTOM OF A 9in. PIE PLATE<>DO NOT PRICK<>BAKE AT 400degreesF. for 12 to 15 minutes or until GOLDEN BROWN. (COOL) IN A MIXING BOWL, (BEAT CREAM CHEESE AND SUGAR UNTIL SMOOTH)ADD ABOUT 3/4 CUP OF THE STRAWBERRIES, BEAT UNTIL BITS OF BERRY REMAIN. (SPREAD INTO COOLRD PIE SHELL. (MELT CHOCOLATE OVER LOW HEAT) (DIP TIPS OF REMAINING STRAWBERRIES INTO CHOCOLATE. (ARRANGE TIP OF STRAWBERRIES UP!< OVER CREAM CHEESE LAYER!(SPRINKLE WITH NUTS!CHILL THOROUGHLY. CUT WITH A SHARP KNIFE. (SERVES 6-8)  yummy, YUMMY!!!
