BOG TURTLE
TRAVELING ON A DIRT ROAD IN VERSHIRE VERMONT, I CAME ACROSS A BOG TURTLE CROSSING THE ROAD!! ( THE BOG TURTLE CAN BE FOUND FROM VERMONT IN THE NORTH, SOUTH TO GEORGIA AND WEST TO OHIO. BOG TURTLE SHELLS ARE DARK BROWN, AND HANE ORANGE SPOTS ON NECK AREA. (THE BOG TURTLE IS PROTECTED UNDER THE ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT> OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) THE BOG TURTLE IS OMNIVOROUS (feeding on Plants and Small Animals) THEY PREFER WET LANDS and the HABITAT is often on the EDGE OF WOODS. (THE TURTLE WAS CROSSING THE ROAD, MAYBE He WAS GOING TO THE SHELL STATION, THEY TRAVEL AT 100 millimeters an HOUR!! THE BOG TURTLE IS GREAT TO LOOK AT (LETs KEEP PROTECTING THEM)!!!!!!!!
