A STROLL IN THE WOODS ITS' SPRING






IN THE SPRING, THE WOODS ARE WET AND BURSTING WITH NEW LIFE. MOREL AND CHANTERELLE  MUSHROOMS ARE POPPING UP. THEY ARE EASY TO IDENTIFY, ONCE SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHAT TO LOOK FOR, AND IT IS ALWAYS WISE TO LEARN FROM AN EXPERT.  SOME MUSHROOMS ARE EDIBLE OTHERS ARE POISONOUS. SPRING ALSO BRINGS OUT BEAUTIFUL BIRDS, THE CARDINALS, (bright red) BLUE JAYS ( colored blue-white-black) THE CHICK-A=DEES<> THEN THE SPRING NARCISSUS, DAFFODILS, PAPER-WHITES, THEY ALL POP THEIR BRIGHT HEADS OUT EARLY LETTING US KNOW WARM WEATHER IS NEAR!!!!YOU CAN PLANT COLD WEATHER CROPS< (PEAS) BEETS (BEANS) CARROTS (RADISH) AND YOU CAN PUT ANNUAL FLOWER SEEDS IN THE GROUND.(WHEN THE FROST IS PAST AND THE SOIL IS 55 degrees GO AHEAD PLANT( OUR SEASON IS SHORT) TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
