AFTER THE FROST, AND (POOR MANS' MANURE) TIME TO GET THE FIRST SPRING PEAS' IN, THE GROUND SHOULD BE EASY TO TILL, AND HAVE GOOD FERTILIZER, ( THE PEA CAN TAKE A FROST AND LIKE THE COLD<> GROW IN SHADE, DON'T LIKE IT HOT. THE PEA IS A GREAT EARLY PLANTING CROP. THEY ARE GOOD EATEN RAW OR COOKED!!!!!! I JUST PUT MY FIRST ROW OF PEAS IN TODAY, April 10,2011. (I;ll show photos when they begin to sprout) I LIKE A SWEET FRESH PEA RIGHT OUT OF THE POD>!!!!!
