BANANA RUM CAKE & RUM FROSTING


1 PACKAGE YELLOW CAKE MIX<><>1/8 teaspoon BAKING SODA<><>2/3 CUP DARK RUM<><>2/3 CUP WATER<><>2 EGGS,,><><>1 CUP RIPE BANANAS, 2-3<><>1/3 cup CHOPPED NUTS<><> PRE-HEAT OVEN to 350degrees<><>GREASE AND FLOUR two ( inch CAKE PANS<><>COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS in LARGE BOWL. BLEND WELL, then beat at medium speed with mixer for 2-3 minutes.TURN INTO GREASED PANS<><>BAKE 20 to 30 MINUTES or until CAKE TESTS DONE<><>COOL, completely<><>(FROST)------RUM FROSTING<><><><><><><><><><><><><><>1/3 CUP BUTTER,softened<><>3 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR<><>2 TEASPOON VANILLA,<><>2 TABLESPOONs  DARK RUM<><><> COMBINE BUTTER AND SUGAR; BLEND THOROUGHLY. STIR IN VANILLA AND RUM. <> BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.<><>THEN TAKE FROSTING AND FROST THE (BANANA RUM CAKE with RUM FROSTING)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YUMMY!!! YUMMY!!!!
