SHEPERD'S PIE
(A SIMPLE CASSEROLE)<><> 1/1/2--2 lbs lean ground BEEF<><><><>1 medium ONION<><><><><>2 cans CREAM STYLE CORN<><><><>6 POTATO'S medium size, washed peeled<><><><><>SALT<and PEPPER to taste<<><>(CUT UP ONION, SAUTE IN FRYING PAN TILL GOLDEN BROWN,<><>ADD GROUND BEEF TO FRYING PAN with sauted ONIONS, THEN COOK THE HAMBURG, (making sure it's done a bit dark brown with sauted onions, add pinch sat pepper.) THEN BOIL 6 POTATOS' TILL DONE<><> TAKE POTATOs' PUT IN BOWL WITH (pats of real butter, pinch salt, pepper, ADD A SMALL AMOUNT OF MILK OR LIGHT CREAM, (mash POTATOS', WHIP TILL THE POTATOS' ARE CREAMY, ( if you like lumps leave them in) I LIKE MY MASHED POTATOS"CREAMY!!!! ASSEMBLE, ( put hamburg with saute onions in a GLASS BAKING DISH OR CASSEROLE DISH, layer HAMBURG IN BOTTOM OF DISH<><> then add 2 CANS OF CREAMED STYLE CORN ,MIXED WITH 1/2 CUP MILK,<><>ADD THIS ON TOP OF COOKED HAMBURG AND SAUTED ONIONS IN CASSEROLE DISH<><>NOW LAYER THE CREAMY MASHED POTATO ON TOP OF THE CREAMED CORN, (smoothing it out on top !!!! MAKING A NICE SMOOTH LAYER, ADD SWIRLS, (nice look when baked!!!! BAKE IN A 350 degree OVEN 10 minutes, THEN BAKE 30 minutes at 400 till BUBBLY , AND MASHED POTATOS' ARE GOLD IN COLOR<!!!!!!!!!
