PARSNIPS



PARSNIPS are like a carrot, THE PARSNIP IS SWEET A ROOT VEGETABLE.<>THIS THE WAY MY MOM cooked them,<><>PARBOIL THE PARSNIP<>then SLICE OR CUT LENGTHWISE and FRY IN BUTTER, you can ROLL THEM IN EGG AND CRACKERS AND FRY<><>PARSNIP FRITTERS<><><>SCRAPE AND BOIL PARSNIP IN BOILING WATER.<><>THEN MASH 2 CUPS OF PARSNIPS<>ADD 1 BEATEN EGG, 1 teaspoon FLOUR 1 teaspoon MILK,salt and pepper<>MIX ALL INGREDIENTS AND SHAPE IN small CAKES and FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN<><> THE PARSNIP IS A TASTY ROOT VEGETABLE!!!!! ( AND CAN BE USED IN STEWS AND CASSEROLES)!!!
