"OOH' & Ah's" (CHICKEN-FRIED) PORK CHOPS !




(CHICKEN-FRIED) PORK CHOPS<>6 PORK CHOPS, 1/2 in, THICK<>1 BEATEN EGG<>1 TABLESPOON MILK<>2/3 CUP DRY BREAD CRUMBS<>1/2 TEASPOON SHORTENING<>1/2 TEASPOON SALT<>TRIM FAT from CHOPS<>COMBINE EGG & MILK.<>DIP PORK CHOPS in EGG mixture, then in BREAD CRUMBS<>IN (HEAVY SKILLET, BROWN CHOPS on both sides in HOT SHORTENING<>SEASON with SALT<>ADD 1/4 CUP WATER.<>COVER and COOK over LOW HEAT for 30 to 45 MINUTES<>LIFT CHOPS and TURN OCCASIONALLY prevent from sticking<> makes 6 SERVINGS<> (SERVE with WILD RICE)  ooh's  & aah's !!!!!!
