SWEET TOOTH, craving (CHOCOLATE & BUTTERSCOTCH) QUICK & EASY FUDGE<>1 CUP CHOCOLATE (CHOCOLATE CHIPS)<>1 CUP (BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS)<>1 (14 oz. CAN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK)<>1 TEASPOON VANILLA<>1 CUP PECANS<><>BUTTER a 9x9 in. BAKING DISH<>MELT (CHOCOLATE & BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS) and CONDENSED MILK in (DOUBLE BOILER on MED. HEAT) once SMOOTH, remove from HEAT and (ADD VANILLA and NUTS<>(SCOOP in BAKING GLASS DISH and CHILL in REFRIGERATOR until SET 10 minutes<> Then CUT in SQUARES!! DELICIOUS for FIX on SWEET TOOTH!!!!

BACK IN the OLE DAYS with HAY RAKES!
A LIGHTHEARTED LOOK BACK in FUN and FASHION, and for some REASON or ANOTHER the HAY RAKE was TOPS' on a FARMERS LIST and TODAY "BOAST not THYSELF of TOMORROW for THOU knowest not WHAT a DAY may BRING FORTH" (THE HAY RAKE SITS IDLE but in the OLE DAYS the HAY RAKE was FUN and in FASHION)!!!!!!!
"OOH' & Ah's" (CHICKEN-FRIED) PORK CHOPS !
(CHICKEN-FRIED) PORK CHOPS<>6 PORK CHOPS, 1/2 in, THICK<>1 BEATEN EGG<>1 TABLESPOON MILK<>2/3 CUP DRY BREAD CRUMBS<>1/2 TEASPOON SHORTENING<>1/2 TEASPOON SALT<>TRIM FAT from CHOPS<>COMBINE EGG & MILK.<>DIP PORK CHOPS in EGG mixture, then in BREAD CRUMBS<>IN (HEAVY SKILLET, BROWN CHOPS on both sides in HOT SHORTENING<>SEASON with SALT<>ADD 1/4 CUP WATER.<>COVER and COOK over LOW HEAT for 30 to 45 MINUTES<>LIFT CHOPS and TURN OCCASIONALLY prevent from sticking<> makes 6 SERVINGS<> (SERVE with WILD RICE) ooh's & aah's !!!!!!

NEW YEAR (BRUNCH) EGG CASSEROLE! HAPPY 2012,
EGG CASSEROLE (GREAT for BRUNCH)<> 2 DOZEN EGGS<>1 lb. BACON<>MUSHROOMS SLICED<>1 CAN MUSHROOM SOUP<>1 PT. SOUR CREAM<>1 CUP GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE<><>PREPARE EGG, as to scramble with milk<>SALT & PEPPER.<>COOK BACON until CRISP & CRUMBLE<>SAUTE MUSHROOMS.<>MIX (SOUR CREAM and SOUP)<>POUR EGGS into BOTTOM of 3 QUART DISH or 13x9 in PAN<>(TOP with mushrooms<>POUR (SOUP MIXTURE over THIS<>TOP (with CHEESE and BACON)<>BAKE @ 350 degrees F. for about 45 minutes or until SET<> GREAT BRUNCH (EGG & CHEESE & BACON CASSEROLE) oh's and ah's!!!!!!!
